I joined Joey's yoga and birth prep classes at only 12 weeks along in my pregnancy. I was the smallest bump there and initially thought that starting so early was a little over the top! I'm now 37 weeks and I haven't regretted it one little bit - the knowledge, support and confidence I have gained through her classes has been invaluable. My partner and I went on to do the Hypnobirthing course with Joey and are now really looking forward to our birthing day. I can only put this down to all the knowledge we have gained. PREGNANCY YOGA AND BIRTH PREPARATION CLASSES
Empowered pregnancy in Bristol
Pregnancy yoga works to create physical and emotional strength and relaxation, leaving you free to enjoy the amazing journey of your pregnancy and connect with your baby.
The fluid movements build space in the body, elasticity in the pelvic floor and help the body recover after birth. You will learn tools and techniques that bring a sense of calm to you and your baby, which can be used throughout pregnancy, as well as during the birthing process.
Pregnancy yoga is different from regular yoga, as poses are adapted to relieve common ailments, such as backache and swollen limbs. Classes are also a great way to meet other Mums-to-be, and can be a great bonding experience.
Antenatal classes are suitable for all expectant mothers from 12 weeks who wish to bring physical and emotional balance.
Pregnancy yoga and Birth preparation classes run every Tuesday at The Southville Centre from 7.15 - 8.45pm and are available to book via Paypal, MoveGB or bank transfer.
If it is your first class then please select the £12.50 Drop-In option. If you have used your drop in class, please purchase a £50 4 week class pass, which do not have to be used consecutively.
